Our Approach:

Following an initial meeting with the client a brief will be formed identifying their needs, expenditure and timescales. A site survey will be carried out following which a feasibility proposal will be prepared for discussion and agreement prior to progressing with submission of the statutory approvals. A competitive quote will be provided for each stage of the project dependant on its complexity and scope of the work.

Most projects involve the preparation of a feasibility design and submission of planning and building regulation applications. Assistance can be provided with construction drawings, tender information, appointment of contractor and on-site supervision through to completion of the contract and will be dependent on the level of service and assistance required.

Often projects require additional specialist advice and input from other professionals which may include a structural engineer, quantity surveyor, energy consultant, planning supervisor, party wall surveyor. This will be determined on an individual project basis, and we will liaise and provide advice and obtain quotations for additional professional services as required.

The RIBA Plan of Work Stages sets out the key stages of work for every project from inception through to completion for both large and smaller projects. The practice uses this guide which sets out the various work stages summarized below, and we focus on sustainable outcomes from the offset of the project. The RIBA Plan of Work can be viewed here.
